Time has come to stand up and take a pledge to keep our beloved city, Kolkata, free of child labor and to activate the civil society in fighting this menace. Let us face the fact that unless the civil society wakes up, nothing will change. The law will remain in the law books as legal jargon and few sections of I.P.C, and the children, the future of our country, will continue to languish. WE cannot allow this because children cannot wait for tomorrow.
In order to fulfill this pledge we are organizing a road show. Please do come and join our road show to express your solidarity towards making this city free of this evil and to inspire the civil society to rise and fight actively towards achieving this goal.
